Cherkasov biography is brief
Moscow, Aleksey Timofeevich Cherkasov, was born on June 2 on June 20 according to the old style of the year in the village of Potapova, Daurian volost, the former Yenisei province, in the family of Timofei Zinovievich Cherkasov and his legal wife Evdokia Fominichny nee Tkachenko. Cherkasov’s father was from the family of the descendants of the Decembrist, Baron Alexei Ivanovich Cherkasov, who was serving a link in Yalutorovsk.
Upon serving the period of exile in Siberia, Alexey Ivanovich Cherkasov went to serve in the Caucasus with the rank of ordinary in order to regain the lost rank of a nobleman. The family left by him in Siberia actually had nothing but his surname, and in search of a better life, went to the settlement in the Prienisei taiga hinterland. Cherkasov knew little his father.
In the First World War, he fought far from home and for the first time his son saw his father in the year. The village of Potapova, where A. Cherkasov was born, disappeared under the waters of the Krasnoyarsk reservoir in the years. Saving children from hunger, Evdokia Fominichna took the first -born Alexei, his sister Anna Rod. Moscow studied for two years at the Krasnoyarsk Agricultural District Institute, then left for Balakhinsky district-to conduct collectivization.
In the village of Cherkasov, he lingered for a good fifteen years: he worked as an agronomist in the state farms of the Krasnoyarsk Territory and Northern Kazakhstan in Northern Kazakhstan in the year of Cherkasov and was arrested for the first time on false charges. He spent three years in prisons, camps. He was released in a year, but two years later arrested again. In these dramatic years, the manuscripts of the first two novels of Cherkasov “Ice cover” and “The world as it are” were lost.
After Minusinsk and Abakan prisons, Cherkasov was in Krasnoyarsk. His future wife, Polina Dmitrievna, recalls: “He arrived. And here again the denunciation, vile fabrications that he was not a writer of Cherkasov, but a rogue who impersonates such a thing. The matter came to the point that Alexey Timofeevich hid the mental hospital Simferopol G. Polina Dmitrievna herself worked as a military censer in those years.
At first it was absent -minded - through it the correspondence of many people passed, including his letters to her mother.
And now, in Krasnoyarsk, they put in a "psychiatric hospital". Having learned all this, Polina Dmitrievna went to his date, saw a completely healthy, beautiful young man and set a goal: to rescue him from there, at all costs! A flashing feeling of love and compassion for an innocently suffering person demanded many victims: relatives turned away from her, kicked out of work.
And yet love survived. They got married. Rest by the sea G. however, glorified and introduced his name into world literature in the trilogy, including the novels "Hops", "Red Horse" and "Black Topol" with a common subtitle "The Tales of the Taiga People". The popularity of the trilogy was incredible, soon it already crossed the limits of the country. In the year, for health reasons, Alexei Cherkasov and his family moves to Crimea.
Lives and works in Simferopol, without interrupting constant contacts with his small homeland - Siberia. It is not possible to return the health lost in heavy life battles. Years are coming. Generations, leaders and era are replaced, the native land changes. In the year, a century of his beloved author “Tales of Taiga people” was widely and solemn in the native Krasnoyarsk Territory.
The name of Cherkasov is called two mass libraries. One of them is in the city of Minusinsk, which once became a cradle of Cherkasov’s work. The love of the creations of the “Siberian Siberian Singer” is as if transmitted from genus to genus, and new readers are happy to read and re -read his fascinating literary creations, in which the boundless faith in good, necessarily triumphant over evil.
