Nikolai Yuryevich was born on August 17 in the village of Korensky Rylsky district in the teacher of the teacher. He graduated from secondary school in Krasnopolia in Ukraine. He studied at the Kharkov Chemical and Technology Institute, but from the 2nd year he went into journalism and literature. Nikolai Yuryevich Korneev recalled: “The profession of a journalist presented me then much more interesting than the specialty of a chemist, and most importantly, approaching me to literature, which is for a young man.

Writing poems seemed especially important. I admit that over the years my opinion has changed, but I had to work as a journalist for a lot of years. ” In Kharkov, he became a member of the city literary association. In the year, together with the poet Mikhail Doroshin, Korneev prepared the first book “Crossroads of Happy Roads”. In the year, he volunteered for the front, fought as an ordinary machine gunner of the Guards Regiment.

In the battles near Taganrog, he was seriously wounded and shell -shocked, lost his left eye. He was treated in the hospitals of Rostov, Stalingrad, Kislovodsk, Yerevan. By the beginning of the battles on the Kursk Bulge, being commisswered, he voluntarily went to work in the front-line newspaper of the 9th Panzer Corps. He returned to Kursk in the year. He worked as a literary secretary in Kursk Pravda, a consultant to the Kursk Regional Book Publishing House.

The military enlistment office was hesitated with an answer, but at the beginning of the summer of the year the departure was allowed. One of the first days of stay in Kursk, strongly destroyed by bombing, I met the writer and journalist M. I was friends with him in the pre -war years. Mikhail Isidorovich now wore captain's shoulder straps and edited a newspaper of the 9th Panzer Corps.

He offered me the place of the corrector in his editorial office. I agreed without long thoughts. My work in the corps newspaper began before battles on the Kursk arc, continued during the battles and further - on the roads of the offensive - until the end of December.

The impaired vision associated with the previous wound. I had to return to Kursk. At the end of the war and in the post -war years, I was a Lithuanian employee of the Kursk Pravda and Lithuanian consultant in the regional publishing house. The military theme immediately became the main thing for him and continued to remain like this throughout his life, but at the same time he said his weighty word in both love and landscape lyrics.

The art of the chicken was highly appreciated by such masters of the poetic word as N. Aseev and A. The famous Russian poet N. Korneev published about thirty books for adults and children in publishing houses in Moscow, Voronezh and Kursk. It was printed in the New World, October, Light, Literary Newspaper, Literary Russia and other famous publications. In the year in Kursk, his collection “Poems of the War” was published, in the year - a collection of poems “Road”.

For many years, he acted as an authorized Litfond of the Union of Writers of the USSR in the Kursk region, was repeatedly elected a member of the Bureau of the Kursk Writing Organization, one of the creators of which was, a member of the editorial council of the Central Black Earth Book Publishing House. He helped dozens of young authors in the creative formation of a cordial, cordial and demanding mentor, many of whom became professional writers - poets and prose writers.

For military and writing work, N. Korneev was awarded the orders of the “Patriotic War”, “Sign of Honor”, ​​and many medals. By the flight of the poet on the house where he lived, by decision of the administration of the city of Kursk, a bronze memorial plaque was installed.
