It was not easy. Mikhail recalls:-The first one and a half to two years in the school turned out to be especially difficult for me.

And from a physical point of view, and from moral. You come and think that you already know the dance, but you find yourself in a completely different world - the world of classical ballet. They begin to teach you again, to instill a love of art. This, of course, is a test for a ten -year -old child. On the one hand, it was interesting to me, I did not really resist anything.

But, by and large, my mother, who said: "Let's try it." Apparently, it seemed to her that something from this would work out. They seemed to be the second parents as time showed me, my mother was right. Although, of course, the ten -year -old Misha could not even think that he was choosing a profession. And then, in adolescence, as it is now admitted, he perceived his studies not so seriously.

I even thought that he had a dance for a couple of years, and then he would go to the Physics and Mathematics Lyceum-he liked mathematics. A frivolous attitude to dance learning at first was reflected in estimates. The situation was saved by teachers. They seemed to me the second parents. These are great masters who really love their work, very devoted to their profession. And this love and devotion are conveyed to their students.

All components of the performance are important to them: not only the physical data of the artists of which the significance of which prevails in many modern theaters, but also musical content, expressiveness, and acting. They instilled all this for us, taught internal discipline. And most importantly - they gave us a love of dance. Because if you do not love your profession, you cannot “get involved in it,” Michael argues.

The debut on the theater stage: eight jumps and sitting under the Christmas tree first of the ballet for Mikhail was the “shurala”. It was in the mid -nineties. Our hero shows: they sat at the very top, on the third tier, next to light lights. I really liked everything. And, of course, the theater itself also struck me with beauty. Mikhail Timaev remembers his first performance in the theater to this day.

In the ballet, the Nutcracker was involved in children who were recruited from the choreographic school. Our hero was then 11 years old. He says: - We had a batch of dolls there. You sat in the first compartment under the Christmas tree in a fixed pose, and after 15 minutes you should have got up and make eight jumps. Four forward and four to the side. And it was such a role!

All the guys really wanted to dance her. And those who were older performed parties of children on the Christmas tree. We even began to teach this party the next year, but the performance changed, the children did not participate in it anymore - they were only recently returned to the Nutcracker. Many ballet dancers dream to perform at the Nurievsky festival. Mikhail Timaev for the first time did this at the summer, together with a ten -year -old girl, in the dance "Dolls" to the music of the Russian composer Anatoly Lyadov.

This number was put in the program of the Gala concert Nurievsky. And I also remember how important it was for me that my parents were able to get to this gala concert, ”says our hero. The access to the soloists and the Baptism of Blood in the year, in the last year, the seventeen -year -old dancer and several more of his classmates were invited to work in the state, in the ballet troupe.

First - to the corps de ballet. In the summer of the year, the troupe worked on the scene of the Philharmonic and was preparing to open the theater after a large -scale reconstruction. The debut of Mikhail Timaev as a standard ballet dancer was the participation in the choreographic stage “Walpurga Night”, which was put for the first concert in the updated theater.By the way, at this concert, the direct broadcast of the Culture television channel was even organized, and not only the entire republican establishment, but also Russian President Vladimir Putin was present in the hall.

Going from the corps de ballet to the rank of soloists in the ballet is not easy. Dancers are several dozen, all strong professionals, and standing out among them is the task of “with an asterisk”. But Mikhail succeeded. In the first year, he was entrusted with the party of the Sea Tsar in Pers Gunta. The next year has become significant in the formation of Mikhail Timaev’s career: he danced several more solo parties.

It became clear: a new prime minister grows from the young man. At the end of the second season of work in the theater, he, together with his classmate Viktoria Kapitonova, was already dancing Siegfried in Swan Lake - the main male party in one of the central Russian ballets! There was no incident: - In the final of the play, I raise a partner, carry her, and then carefully take her to the side on outstretched hands and put it on the floor.

At this moment, a metal hoop flies out of her pack, and I, transferring a partner, take it around my neck. She gets up, makes a turn, looks at me, and her eyes are suddenly rounded. I do not understand what is happening, we are finalizing the scene. And only when I went beyond the scenes, I understand that blood flows around my neck, ”Michael laughs.

At the summer, Mikhail already danced a part of Spartak in the ballet of the same name - and it must be understood that this requires incredible physical strength and preparation.

He continued to work at this time in the corps de ballet, because he was not yet listed as the prime minister. So he danced: today - the main party, tomorrow - in the corps de ballet. Michael considers this a normal situation in his profession: - This is now the person is immediately invited by the soloist, and he, in addition to solo roles, does not danced anything else.

And twenty years ago, at first they took only to the corps de ballet. And this is a wonderful school, especially for someone who has just graduated from school and is not yet ready to be a soloist. At the same time, it cannot highlight any one role, which can confidently call his beloved. Thinking: - Most of all I love dramatic roles and characteristic parties.

All these parties are very interesting to me - both from the point of view of execution, and from the point of view of acting. In such roles, every time you find something new for yourself. At the summer, Michael was already dancing the Spartak party in the ballet of the same name. But only to a certain border: after all, each role has its own movements, its own character, and dissonance cannot be added to it.

During his impressive career - a joke, 20 years in the theater! He calls the work with many Prima-ballerins from other theaters-at least in the same “Swan Lake” at the beginning of his career, he worked with at least ten different partners. At the same time, as the prime minister explains, all are different. Everyone is dancing differently, everyone has a different texture and an axis of balance.

Because in this ballet the duet is complicated, and so that the ballerina is not tired, so that she is on the leg all the time, you must be a very sensitive partner. All this must be kept in my head and remember the nuances and features of how to dance with a particular ballerina during rehearsals so that it is convenient for it. From the point of view of professional development, it was a completely crazy school!

The batch of Zorba is both dramatic, and characteristic, and physically very difficult. Our hero argues: - Before the performance, we were strictly forbidden to revise his notes with other soloists. But I admit, I found some records with the first performer of this role - Vladimir Viktorovich Vasiliev. And we even talked to him on this topic - so I approached the material prepared.

The meaning of this role is to infect people around with energy, openness, the breadth of the soul. Everyone can perceive this story in their own way, and that is why it is necessary to prepare for this role, in my opinion. I read a lot of material, including how life was arranged in Crete - in the place where the ballet takes place. Imagine, the way there was such that the husband, dying, left an order about who his widow would get!
