Artem, how did you choose a profession?

Artem is a white biography

Was it a conscious decision? Grandma always said that you need to learn and strive to get a higher education. Since childhood, I was inquisitive, my studies were easily given to me, especially mathematics. When chemistry began, a completely new item, two quarters received six, until after the next test work the chemistry teacher said: “Artem, I see that you can better, you have to try.” I sat down and tried to figure it out in one, then in the other topic, as a result for the third quarter I got 8, for the fourth - 9, and I was set up in an advance for the year.

This was very motivated. From the next academic year and until the end of general secondary education, I regularly participated in the city subject Olympiads in chemistry, biology, mathematics and history, stably entered the top five at the city level, and even went to the regional Olympiad in Brest in biology. I liked to compete with the stronger knowledge of peers from different schools.

After grade 9, he entered the Chemical and Biological class of the Lyceum of Polesie State University: at first he won the chemistry Olympiad for Lyceum applicants, and then successfully passed the entrance exams in chemistry and biology. He planned to enter the Faculty of Chemistry at BSU, but the chemistry teacher Tatyana Vladimirovna Andrukhovich told me about the profession of a pharmacist.

Honestly, then I did not even know who the pharmacist is. It was not easy to enter a medical university at all times. Traditionally, the competition is very high for all faculties ... Studying at the university, and even in another city - costly pleasure. The financial capabilities of our family at that time were limited. Mom knew that I had the ability to study, but initially said that she would help only if the budget was entered.

In general, she often complained about what would be better if I entered college and received a scholarship instead of studying at the lyceum. The conversation did not even come about the tutors, fortunately, there was an opportunity to attend additional classes in specialized subjects. Also, a great contribution made preparations for the Olympics, which has formed algorithms for solving problems of increased complexity.

Like many applicants, in grade 11, I regularly tested my knowledge on rehearsal tests. And if, in chemistry and biology, he stably received good points, then the problem arose with the Russian language. From 60 points on the first test, I rolled up to 39, and there were several months left before the CT. And then I decided to go through an express training with a tutor, to pay for which all the money set aside for graduation went.

As a result, I received 72 points in Russian, in chemistry 79, in the amount of biology with the average score of the certificate, points were released, which was 7 points above the passage to the pharmaceutical faculty of the Vitebsk medical university in the year. Pan or disappeared ... Some applicants monitor points on the last day, shift their documents from the faculty to the faculty several times, even in the last hours they change the university.

How did your receipt go? Submitted documents on the penultimate day. In the year, the reception campaign coincided with the Slavic bazaar, there were practically no tickets for the train, it was unrealistic to find the night in Vitebsk at an affordable price. I went with my grandmother in the upper side places, I decided to spend the night at the station.

When submitting documents, I was offered to enter the Faculty of Medicine, but I firmly replied that I decided to go only to the pharmaceutical. In response, I was asked who I came with and where I stopped. Hearing about the grandmother and the station, the woman from the selection committee said: “You know, young man, I don’t worry about you, but for your grandmother - yes.” As a result, we were settled in the room in the University Hotel "Dvina" for one night.

In the evening, I began to monitor points: from the period - the competition moved to - there was an option to get to the Vitebsk -Grodno train and submit documents for the medical medical university in the Grodno Medical University. They began to think with her grandmother, in the end they decided: we’ll spend the night, we won’t go anywhere: pan or disappeared ...

Early in the morning we went with things to the university and sat under the doors of the reception commission. I began to ask everyone with what points they leave, I tried to find out what kind of passing score ... Some applicants decided not to take risks and submitted documents to the target direction or to the medical faculty. We sat until the last second, until a woman left the office and announced the end of receiving documents.

At that moment, it seemed to me that I lost: after all, if I did not go to the budget and refused to pay, then I did not enter this year anywhere. I believed: in my period, 26 places of 32 applicants, that is, 6 - for departure. We did not have time for the last train, so we went with transfers to Minsk, and then to Pinsk on diesel engines. While driving, I repeated “what if I do not act,” by the end of the trip I had an end to my grandmother to give me a chance to try to enter the university next year or go to the Mogilev Medical College. Two weeks later, I carried a correspondence in the summer worked as a postman at the post office, and a classmate in the lyceum called me: “Artem, congratulations, you are on the lists for crediting!

So I became a student of the pharmaceutical faculty of VSMU. Pharmacy - more than just a pharmacy than the student years remembered? It was difficult to study from the very beginning. From the first year, a huge layer of information had to be processed, since there were no single literary manuals, the knowledge had to be collected from lectures and literature. At first, these were notes, and to the last courses, my friends and my friends were united in the guild and wrote entire training training methods on exams.

In memory of those times, I have a huge suitcase in the pantry at home in the pantry, completely clogged with educational materials. The main motivation for study was a scholarship, since at first all the money of the mother went to pay for the room, the hostel was given only to the 3-4th rate. In other expenses, he could only count on a scholarship, so he tried how to get an increased one.

In the first year he worked in a student construction team, which subsequently, along with other achievements, helped me get a place in the hostel in the 2nd year. In the 3rd year, my classmates and my classmates shot training videos on the pharmacy manufacturing of drugs. For high achievements in my studies, I received the right to undergo pharmacogeal practice on the basis of the St.

Petersburg Chemical and Pharmaceutical Academy in the village of Lembolovo, Leningrad Region. This was my first foreign trip. At the end of my studies, I defended the thesis on the topic “Industrial production of microcapsuls based on the grass of the motherwort” under the leadership of the head of the department of industrial technology of medicines, Dr. Farm. It was not necessary to protect the work in those days, many classmates did not bother.

My work was carried out on the basis of experimental data obtained in the training laboratory. He graduated from the university with an average score of 8, from the side it seems that the pharmacy is largely similar to the outlet where people come and buy what they need, or what the doctor wrote out. And the question arises: why so much knowledge for working in a pharmacy?

Of course, for the buyer, a pharmacy is a place where he can purchase the necessary medicines and consult on medical use. The quality assurance system and the treatment of drugs in which pharmacists take an active part remain unnoticed. Each drug must comply with quality, effectiveness and safety settings, everything should be documented. However, the pharmacist's diploma involves work not only in the pharmacy.

There are other directions: pharmacist-marketer, provisor-informant, pharmacist-technologist, etc. The pharmaceutical industry covers much large horizons than just a pharmacy. When I started to study, there were a little more than 1 Belarusian medicines, now about 1, and this is a slightly different organization of the pharmacy economy in a pharmacy. The pharmacist as a certified specialist has comprehensive knowledge of related disciplines, which were formed gradually on the basis of practical and theoretical training.

Thus, it is difficult to understand pharmacology without pathophysiology and pharmaceutical chemistry, which, in turn, cannot be understood without biochemistry and normal physiology, and biochemistry without general, inorganic, organic, physical and colloidal chemistry and others. And if at the initial stage to allow some gap, losing a brick from the foundation, then it is difficult to make up for this gap.

Knowledge will then be superficial, not based on the evidence base, without understanding processes. We also have many different branches from different specialties: pharmacotherapy communication with therapeutic affairs, industrial production and pharmacy technology, organization and economics of pharmacy, commodity science and others. Obtaining a doctor’s diploma involves the passage of the internship.

And how are the pharmacists? We also pass the internship of 5 months: we consolidate theoretical knowledge and work out practical skills under the supervision of the leader. Then we prepare a package of documents and pass the qualification exam, only after that we get a specialist certificate. Artem, what is your second higher education and why did you decide to get it?

The second higher received at the Academy of Management under the President of the Republic of Belarus with a degree in state administration and economics, the qualification of “Economist-manager”. Even at the medical university, I and my friends were interested in studying at the academy, they talked about the prestige of training with the prospect of career growth.

I convinced three classmates to act immediately after graduating from the university, which played a certain role in their further career growth. In general, I believe that the Academy is a wonderful school of the leader, during the training I was able to not only comprehensively get acquainted with the functioning of various organizations, but also understand, in particular, the essence of internal processes.

A separate role is played by knowledge of state regulation of the economy and public administration. In elementary school, when in a music lesson we sang a song from a textbook, a music teacher noted that I have a beautiful voice. I liked the song so much that I began to sing it in lessons and changes. There was no talk of speaking somewhere. I was very shy.

In the 5th grade, he asked to participate in a concert on the teacher's Day, said that I know the song “Winged Swing”. When he sang, his hands were shaking with fear, the knees trembled so that the school principal came to my stage to support. So my first performance passed. The first work with vocals began already in a new school in the 8th grade. I came to listen to the music worker and asked everyone present: “Can you look at me?

Turning his back, Anna Herman “Hope” sang a childish voice. The teacher was surprised: “Why are you singing so highly? You need to sing below. " And he showed me how to ... So I started singing in my lower register, and my falsetto formed long -term singing in a childish voice. There was no thought to go to music school? I did not even know that there are music schools.
