All this was with Dmitry Arkadyevich Minin. He barely turned eighteen when he left his native Moscow and left a simple administrator with a small concert brigade in the cities and weights of our huge country. Minin traveled around almost the entire USSR, he already worked as the director of the Siberian People’s Choir along with his artistic director Valentin Levashov, he comes to Kalinin. He works in the Philharmonic by the organizer of the tour, then he is invited to the post of deputy director of the drama theater, the chief director of the drama A.

He is responsible for the fullness of the auditorium, solves economic issues, plans and organizes the on -site performances of the theater in our large field and summer tour in the cities of the country. And everywhere D. Minin will be successful. There are brilliant performances, talented directors and actors, a professional staged troupe, respect for it from small to great.

Life brings D. Ilovsky, who makes an offer to the successful administrator, from which Dmitry Arkadievich cannot refuse: to move with his family from the communal room to the apartment. So D. Minin becomes the director of the puppet theater and falls in love with the team from the first minute. Such enthusiasts work here, such people in love with art people who can only be dreamed of.

Moreover, they work in constrained conditions, without their premises, without a rehearsal hall, live and literally create on the wheels of an old bus, which carries them along Kalinin’s kindergartens and its environs, only sometimes going to a large real scene of the Youth Theater, where the administrative part of the theater was located. Together with A. Ilovsky, they achieve the construction of the theater building, spending so much strength, energy, charm and the same organizational abilities that they could not occupy.

The theater goes on tour to Hungary. The reception is incredible! Theater performances are shown on central television. He arrives in Kalinin, and more than once, the People's Artist of the USSR Sergey Obrektsov, who simply falls in love with the theater and rejoices at the achievements of the team. It was an amazingly fruitful tandem - A. Ilovsky and D. everything broke off in one time.

Alexander Mironovich was gone. The theater almost lost D. Minin: he suffered a severe heart attack. But he recovered quickly and returned to work: the theater was waiting.
