After that, Lokomotiv sharply stopped passing from the standards. Then there really was a situation with several in a row missed goals from standard provisions. There were several games, when they stopped pressing, they went astray into their penalty area, in the end they missed. The fact that all these problems sooner or later was solved, says only that the coaching staff knows how to do work on mistakes.

The club has constant analysis, constant work, making certain adjustments. This is the right work on oneself: understand your shortcomings, draw conclusions and quickly correct them. Sometimes I read: everything should be perfect in the club. Both coaches and football players should work so that it is not necessary to study, it would be enough to just go out and win.

But in life it does not happen! Sport is a type of activity where you only need to stop in development a little, and you will lose immediately. This is their inner cuisine, inner life. In my opinion, this is the area where the public should not be immersed. At first it was decided to invite a specialist, then, apparently, it was decided that it was not necessary. As far as I know, they parted amicably, everyone has a good relationship.

This is a company where money is earned by people, their labor. It is not for nothing that I always say that for Lokomotiv they are rooting from Kaliningrad to Sakhalin: because in every city, in each region, there are a huge number of railway workers. The development of sports is the social load that Russian Railways carries throughout its history. We see that the situation is complicated, and it is difficult in the country as a whole.

We work in a responsible and important period in the history of our state. And the only way out for further development we see a focus on Russian football, on the preparation of Russian players, and the disclosure of talents. They are full, but if you do not let this talent open in time, you will not let him play, he will disappear. In this direction, we see the prospect.

And I am deeply convinced that those clubs that today focus only on the acquisition of legionnaires will lose in the near future. We declared this club strategy a heavy for the “locomotive” in the fall of the year and continue to adhere to this vector. This is not easy, errors will certainly happen along this path, there will be criticism, difficulties.

But in the implementation of this direction, we have absolute unity among all the leaders of the club. Do you have any means to purchase new players? Or, as they write, are you ready to buy only if you sell someone? We try to adhere to this rule.

We make small acquisitions at the expense of the current budget, and more serious, if they are, we will produce if one of our players is in demand, and the Lokomotiv will receive additional funds for the transfer. Football players know that we are developing together until a certain point, they can reach some maximum in Lokomotiv, and with a good sentence we will not hold the players.

And now we still feel some consequences.
